Developed by our team of innovative athletic performance experts and professional tennis coaches, our Athletic Enhancement Program (AEP) promotes athletic progression, cognitive development, and overall personal growth.

METHODOLOGY

As the operating system for athletic development, AEP training disciplines are designed to enhance a tennis player's maximum potential. What's our secret? Utilizing a revolutionary training system designed to progressively train, test, and improve our athletes.

 

Our program revolves around personalized periodization; a planning system that prepares athletes to reach peak performance levels during scheduled competitions while preventing burnout, overtraining, and injuries.

Periodization is an exercise design technique that promotes long-term performance improvements. We implement this technique by modifying variations of exercise intensity, volume, frequency, and specificity within certain training periods or cycles. Typically using linear or nonlinear programming, modifying these variables can help optimize performance gains, decrease risk of injury, prevent overtraining.

ATHLETIC PREPAREDNESS

The ultimate success of our training program centers on its ability to induce specific physiological adaptations and translate those adaptations into increases in performance. At the center of this process is the ability to manage the adaptive response, handle accumulated fatigue, and capitalize on the aftereffects established from the various training factors encountered.

Without a training plan there is no pathway to achieving your goals and objectives. Therefore, we offer meticulously designed training programs that allow our athletes to:

  • Set SMART goals and objectives.

  • Analyze the demands of specific events.

  • Determine your limiters/ weaknesses.

  • Determine your training objectives.

  • Prioritize Competitions and Events.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

S&C classes will provide athletes with fundamental strength and conditioning training. Athletes will learn, train, and develop a wide variety of essential skills under a periodized training program. We safely introduce weightlifting and other aspects of training while carefully monitoring individual athletic progression and performance.

1-ON-1 PRIVATE TRAINING

1-on-1 sessions will provide athletes with Individualized Sports Performance Training. Athletes will receive and follow a customized fitness program designed to test, develop, and potentiate their performance. Athletes will undergo consistent physical evaluations and receive state-of-the-art performance training and analysis.

I understand that the AEP Fitness Schedule is ongoing and follows the Mission Hills Tennis Program Yearly Calendar Schedule. For more information on the Tennis Schedule click here. I will email Noah Yuzna (noah.yuzna@themissionhillsclub.com) for accommodations and requests. Requests are subject for review, and may not be approved.

Once Enrolled, you are automatically enrolled throughout the school year. We charge by 10 class packages. Therefore, after 10 sessions are completed, the next package of 10 sessions will be automatically renewed and applied to the athlete's account. If you want to cancel enrollment you must email Noah Yuzna (Noah.Yuzna@themissionhillsclub.com) before the start of the next session. We do not accept late cancellations.

Deductions for vacation or anticipated missed classes need to be given 3 days in advance via email in order to be adjusted from tuition. If you will be missing a class, we must be notified at least 12 hours in advance in order to receive a credit or make-up. If not notified, the class will be charged as usual.

I understand that only tennis participants with a tennis membership are eligible for AEP class discounts and private lesson discounts.
