JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT
Intermediate Level
Green Ball
This program is a transition program between Orange Ball and Yellow Ball levels, it is designed for kids who are at the intermediate level. The class has a strong emphasis on adding spin and having different grips being introduced into the player’s fundamentals.

Tournament Training
2 hours of intense tennis clinic with emphasis on building all-court fundamentals, prioritizing hitting heavier balls, and developing transitional skills. Players are competing in Challenger-level tournaments. All Performance classes are by invite only.

TENNIS DIRECTOR
Max Taylor
Coach Max is a USPTA Elite Professional who manages tennis operations at the club. He specializes in junior development and players that he has worked with have gone on to compete at Stanford, Harvard, Yale, and other top universities. He competed for UC Santa Barbara where he played in four consecutive NCAA Division 1 Championships. As a junior, he was a top 40 national player throughout all age divisions. He competed in multiple Orange Bowls, and the Maze Cup.

TENNIS OPERATIONS | ROG DEVELOPMENT
Carmen Pham
Coach Carmen specializes in developing elite junior players, as well as young talents from Red Ball to competitive tournament yellow ball tennis students. She was a successful National and NorCal player during her junior career, receiving a full athletic scholarship to Santa Clara University. She graduated in 2011 with a BA in Business Marketing.

TENNIS PROFESSIONAL
Tendo Gwaze
Coach Tendo originally from Winchester, England. Specializes in developing elite juniors, as well as building a solid foundation and developing a well-rounded game in young talents in Red ball through to yellow ball. She was a successful Junior player in England, at the National level. She has a passion for coaching.

Summer Dong
Coach Summer is a graduated student-athlete on a full athletic scholarship from Young Harris College, served as women’s tennis team captain in her junior and senior years. She worked with city team and province team level juniors in Gravity Tennis Club, Guangzhou, China in 2019-2020. She focuses on tournament training level players and is now pursuing a master’s degree in sport management.

Peter Shin
A former Division 1 Player who received scholarship at the University of Idaho. Was top ranked as a junior player for USTA Norcal section. Previously coached in a city program in Dublin/San Ramon area spanning from 2017-2022. Holds two bachelor’s degrees in Operations Management and Marketing.

Kyle Hickey
Coach Kyle specializes in developing juniors to get to an elite level and becoming a more well-rounded player. He is originally from the Boston area and competed collegiately at Washington College (MD) and Rollins College during which he earned a degree in business management. He was a successful tournament player in New England and California.

Angela Sharma
Coach Angela is a USPTA Tennis Professional with Two Bachelor's in Sports Management and Human Resources. Angela played competitively in Nationals and Qatar International Tournaments ranking #6 in women's section in Qatar in 2017, and Winner for Mixed Doubles sectional for 2019 Oasis Tournament in Qatar. Also, she has international coaching experience in Qatar and won youngest tennis entrepreneur award and published in Gulf Times leading newspaper in Qatar at the age of 18.

Aymet Uzcategui
Aymet Uzcategui Golding is a former professional tennis player and international coach with over seven years of experience competing on the ITF and WTA tours. A proud representative of Venezuela in the Billie Jean King Cup, both as a player and team captain, she has coached and mentored athletes and teams to achieve national rankings, collegiate rankings, and pursue professional careers. Her coaching career spans programs across the U.S., Hong Kong, and South America, including leadership roles at Indiana University, McNeese State University, Bruguera Tennis Academy (Hong Kong), and now Mission Hills Tennis Club. As a player, she achieved WTA career-high rankings of No. 195 in doubles and No. 601 in singles, winning medals at South American and Central American Games, and competing against world-class talents.
